Review of Splintered, by A.G. Howard

Buy it on Amazon

I started reading Splintered when I was on an airplane for a weekend away. Until then, I had a hard time making any time to read but, three hours on one airplane and three hours on  another is plenty of time to get through the book. Well, I got through most of it on the airplane and then the rest of it at home before bed.

I have a hard time staying focused usually, but this time, I was pleasantly surprised. I was so excited to find myself thinking of the story throughout the day, remembering just where I left off and not having to go back and reread anything for reminders.

A lot of research and passion for the original Alice in Wonderland obviously went into this book and it was most definitely worth it! The characters were fun, the story kept moving (there were no points of just yawning and wanting to skip over a page or two) and it made me excited about reading Alice in Wonderland to my kids again.

Sadly, I am super picky when it comes to books these days… but that’s what makes me extra thrilled to have another book recommendation I’ll be passing on to my friends!

Thank you, Lady Howard! Keep writing!
